We take a very personal approach in working with you to find out what is important to you and helping you to achieve those goals.
Our meetings are set up to work around you, we can arrange face to face meetings, telephone meetings or even video calls - whatever you prefer.

Paul grew up in Newquay and now lives in Truro with his partner and their cat Doris!
From an early age Paul wanted to help people buy houses and in 2008 he passed his CeMAP qualification and has been doing exactly that ever since.
Paul spent 9 years working for high street banks but found the whole proposition too restrictive, with far too many people not ticking the boxes of one individual lender.
So from 2015 Paul decided to set up his own business and become an independent mortgage broker, eventually setting up Sound Mortgages to give other like-minded mortgage brokers the tools and resources to help clients achieve their goals.
In his spare time (whatever that is) Paul likes to play squash, golf and loves snowboarding!

Sammy worked for a large corporate company for 4 years then moved on to work at Sound mortgages in 2020.
Sammy really enjoys helping first time buyers and meeting new people.
In her spare time she loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys a spa day and trying new restaurants.

R O B A T K I N S O N
Rob joined the Sound Mortgages team in late 2020 and has been providing whole of market mortgage and protection advice since 2018. Prior to this, he has 10 years’ experience working for one of the UK’s biggest banks.
When not working, Rob is usually exploring the local coast paths with his girlfriend Gina or planning what country is next to tick off the list for their next holiday!
Rob is also a keen sportsman, captaining his local cricket team for 4 years as well as playing football and tennis. He has also been fortunate to combine his love of sport with his love of travel and has visited numerous countries to follow various sporting events.

Steve lives in the seaside town of Bude, North Cornwall with his partner Del and his children Harley and Saffi - Steve also has a Cockapoo called Marvin so the household is very busy at times!
Steve has worked in the financial industry since 1999 and started at a high street bank as a Cashier to become a Personal Banker and then to Mortgage Advisor. He likes helping many people in all walks of life and in 2021 he felt that the time was perfect to become a self-employed mortgage and protection advisor.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys family time, holidays and playing football.
